Jim Kopotic brings a distinctive combination of engineering, construction, and real estate expertise to Maxey Blackstream Christie’s International Real Estate. A graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Jim began his career in civil engineering design and construction, building a strong foundation in land development, infrastructure, and project management. 

Over the past decade, Jim has gained extensive experience in the sales and operations of residential and commercial building materials, working closely with builders, developers, contractors, and homeowners throughout the Lowcountry. This background provides him with a comprehensive understanding of land, construction, and the complexities of the real estate development process, allowing him to offer clients valuable insight when evaluating properties and opportunities. 

As a member of The Nickey Maxey Team, Jim is proud to work alongside his wife, Lindy Kopotic, father-in-law, Nickey Maxey, and sister-in-law, Nicole Henry. He has a particular passion for land, development, new construction, and investment properties, where his engineering and construction knowledge helps clients navigate each stage of the transaction with confidence.
